BELAGAVI: A gang of four thieves broke into eight shops and made away with cash, all in in one night, in Belagavi on Thursday night. Their act was caught on CCTV cameras at some of the locations where they struck.
The thieves targeted textile stores, medical shops and even grocery stores in Pangu Galli, Shanivar Kota and Samadevi Galli. While they found cash in some of the shops, they did not find anything in a few.
The incident occurred in Khade Bazaar police limits and the police have started investigation and are on the lookout for the thieves.
