Thieves break into shop, steal ice cream

BENGALURU: Some thieves broke into an ice cream parlour in the early hour on Wednesday and stole only some ice cream, near Madanayakanahalli in Dombarahalli.

The act was committed by four youths who came in an autorickshaw. Three of them entered the ice cream parlour while one waited in the autorickshaw. The act was captured on CCTV cameras.

In the CCTV footage available, one of the youths first gets off the autorickshaw and he tries to break the lock with some tools. After some time, two others join him and together, they break open the lock and lift the shutter. Two of them go inside the ice cream parlour and take away four ice cream cups from the freezer.

One of them searched the cash box, but did not find money. The youths then left in the autorickshaw after closing the shutter of the ice cream parlour. All three youths wore masks and monkey caps to conceal their identities. The incident took place within the Madanayakanahalli police station limits.
