CHAMARAJANAGAR: Thieves broke into an isolated house at Channipura Mole Layout near Seva Bharati College here and made away with gold jewellery worth over Rs 14 lakh and 7 kg of silver articles. The theft occurred when no one was at home.
The house owner Raghavendra, in his complaint to the police, said that he and his family members had gone to Mantralaya two days ago when the theft occurred. When they returned, they found all the valuables missing.
The movement of the thieves was captured on CCTV cameras installed in the house. The police have released photographs of the thieves and sought information from the public to identify the thieves. Further investigation is under way.
