BENGALURU: Two thieves made a failed bid to break into Rajalakshmi Jewellers in Banashankari using a welding torch. Their act was caught on CCTV camera. The incident occurred on September 5 near the BDA Complex, Banashankari.
The accused, who were carrying a welding torch in a bag, tried to break into the shop, but were spotted by some youths in a nearby shop who raised an alarm and shouted. The accused attempted to escape, but were caught by the police based on the CCTV footage.
A case has been registered at the Banashankari police station, and further investigation is under way.
