Superstar Rajinikanth visits BMTC depot at Jayanagar, surprises staff

BENGALURU: Superstar Rajinikanth, who is basking in the success of his later film ‘Jailer’, on Tuesday paid a visit to the the BMTC’s Jayanagar depot, catching the staff and other personnel unawares. Rajinikanth also interacted with the bus drivers, conductors and other staff.

The Thalaiva first visited the Raghavendra Mutt at Seethapathi Agrahara, where he had spent his younger days, and offered prayers. He then visited the BMTC depot and interacted with the staff for about 10 minutes.

 

Prior to his entry into films, Rajinikanth, whose orginal name is Shivaji Rao Gaikwad, had worked as a bus conductor at the Jayanagar depot with the erstwhile Bangalore Transport Service (BTS).

The BMTC staff were elated with the visit of the superstar and were gushing. Many even clicked selfies with the Thalaiva.
