CHITRADURGA: More than 10 students of the Navodaya Vidyalaya school at Uduvalli in Hiriyur taluk fell ill due to suspected food poisoning on Tuesday. They were rushed to the taluk hospital in Hiriyur where they were treated.
The students had consumed breakfast at the residential school and started complaining of vomiting and diarhoea by afternoon. Parents of the students rushed to the hospital and demanded action against those responsible. They also insisted that the school authorities should ensure that such incidents do not recur.
