State to get one more Vande Bharat train by month-end

BENGALURU: The state will get its third semi high-speed Vande Bharat train, most likely towards the end of August, which will run between Hyderabad and Yeshwantpur.

After the Mysuru-Bengaluru-Chennai train and the Dharwad-Bengaluru train, this will be the third one in the state. The train will cover the 610 km distance from Yeshwantpur station to Kacheguda in seven hours. It will leave Kacheguda early in the morning and reach Bengaluru at 1 pm. In the return direction, it will leave Bengaluru at 2 pm at reach Kacheguda at night.

The train will cover Yeshwantpur, Dharmavaram, Dhone, Kurnool, Gadwal junction, Mehboob Nagar and reach Kacheguda. Trial runs have already been held between Kacheguda and Dhone and will be extended to Yeshwantpur. The service is likely to start towards the end of this month.
