State BJP chief meets Amit Shah amid power tussle in Karnataka Congress

NEW DELHI: Amid the power tussle in the state Congress, which was in full swing, BJP state president B Y  Vijayendra met Union Home and Cooperation Minister Amit Shah on Sunday and briefed him on state politics.

He posted on his X handle that he met Amit Shah to congratulate him for the NDA alliance’s resounding victory in the Bihar elections.

“Met Union Home and Cooperation Minister, Hon. @AmitShah Ji and respectfully congratulated him today. By handling the Bihar election, which was termed as a clear indicator for national politics, most effectively  and extremely skillfully, Amit Shah Ji, who played a significant role in the NDA alliance achieving a historic victory and displayed electoral expertise, is an inspirational leader for BJP workers”, he wrote.

During Sunday’s meeting, Vijayendra briefed Amit Shah about the current political developments in Karnataka and sought guidance to further strengthen the organisation in the state, he said.
