Special campaign 3.0: Ministry of Women and Child Development’s swachhata drive in full swing

NEW DELHI: The Ministry of Women and Child DevelopmentĀ is actively engaged in Special Campaign 3.0, focusing on cleanliness and Swachhata within the Ministry and its Autonomous Bodies.

During this nationwide campaign, the Ministry has identified over 40,000 cleanliness sites, including Anganwadi Centres, One Stop Centres, and Child Care Institutions, as part of its preparatory efforts.

The Special Campaign 3.0 officially commenced on September 15, 2023, with a preparatory phase that sought to pinpoint cleanliness targets across the country, read the Ministry of Women and Child Development press release.

Following this, the implementation stage of the campaign started on October 2 and will continue until October 31.

During the campaign, special emphasis is being placed on decluttering spaces and beautifying rooms within the Ministry’s offices. These efforts are aimed at enhancing the work environment and productivity of employees.

As part of the Swachhata Hi Seva Pakhwada, the Secretary of Women and Child Development administered the Swachhata pledge to all officials within the Ministry, underscoring the importance of a clean and garbage-free India, read the press release.

In an impressive display of commitment to the cause, officials from the Ministry actively participated in Shramdaan activities during the observance of Swachhata Diwas.

The Secretary of Women & Child Development conducted inspections of the Ministry’s offices and record rooms located in various buildings, aligning with the objectives of Special Campaign 3.0, read the press release.

To ensure effective monitoring, a dedicated team is overseeing daily progress, with updates regularly uploaded to the SCPDM portal of the Department of Administrative Reforms and Public Grievances.
