BENGALURU: Social activist Sai Datta, who was hospitalised three days ago due to ill health, died early on Saturday.
As as RTI activist, he had had exposed many irregularities and scams in the BDA and BBMP. He was also instrumental in the ban on hoardings, flexes and banners in the city and had taken up various other issues of public interest.
Sai Datta was also the personal secretary to Chickpet BJP MLA Uday Garudachar. The mortal remains were kept at his residence near Deve Gowda petrol bunk for public viewing.
