CHAMARAJANAGAR: Karnataka Pradesh Congress Committee (KPCC) president D K Shivakumar is undertaking a tour of the district on Wednesday in the light of the ‘Bharat Jodo Yatra’ being undertaken by the party.
The Yatra, being spearheaded by Congress leader Rahul Gandhi, will enter Karnataka on September 30 and the state leg will start from Gundlupet in the district.
Shivakumar is touring the district in preparation for the arrival of the Bharat Jodo Yatra. He will hold the first preparatory meeting at Kollegal and later on, hold similar meetings in Chamarajanagar and Gundlupet towns.
