BELAGAVI: An army soldier from Melmatti village in Gokak taluk, who deployed in Aurangabad, Maharashtra, died after he suffered a cardiac arrest.
Shankara Yaligara (33) had been serving in the army for the past 13 years. The family was drowned in sorrow after hearing the news of his death.
The solider was buried with all state honours in his native village on Wednesday. More than 50 policemen were deployed in the village.
