BENGALURU: A severed head was found at a cricket ground in Varthur police limits. The victim was identified as Vishwanath, who had committed suicide by lying on the railway track.

Police said Vishwanath committed suicide after being let down by a six-year-long relationship. He was a native of Punganur in Andhra Pradesh and was working as a Blinkit delivery boy in Bengaluru.

He had been in love with a girl from his same village for six years, but when it came to marriage, the girl’s family did not agree. Caste and the fact that he was working as a delivery boy became obstacles. The girl’s family came to know about this and opposed it.

They told him that they don’t want him and also brainwashed the girl. Because of this, the girl also agreed to her family’s wishes and started avoiding him. She even changed the mobile number she was using. Since she was in Andhra, he could not contact her in any way.

Due tothis, Vishwanath became very depressed mentally. Feeling that he couldn’t get her love, he decided to die. So he decided to lay his head on the railway track. Even at the time of dying, he tried calling his girlfriend. But since the call didn’t reach her, he made the firm decision to die. Later, Vishwanath laid his head on the train.
