BELAGAVI: The district health officer (DHO) has placed seven employees, including a driver, under suspension after videos of them drinking and dancing in the office premises went viral on social media.
A few staff members of the district health office were caught on camera partying with alcohol and dancing in a room right behind the district health office at Tilakwadi here.
In videos doing the rounds on social media, the staff could be seen drinking, singing and dancing in the room where a photo of Mahatma Gandhi is hung on the wall.
At least seven staff members, including the district health officer’s official car driver Manjunath Patil, staffer Mahesh Hiremath can be seen in the video.
