BENGALURU: For regular commuters fed up with Silk Board traffic, there’s some good news at long last. The second carriageway of the double decker flyover has finally been opened bringing much relief to commuters who were troubled by traffic for several years.
The traffic police have started trial movement on the second carriageway of the double decker flyover from HSR 5th Phase via Ragigudda route . The 3.5 km long double fecker flyover was built by BMRCL and one carriageway from near Ragigudda via Central Silk Board was opened in 2024.
The other section was not opened for traffic as construction was not completed. Now, travel from HSR towards BTM is allowed without traffic and signals.
