BENGALURU: A government school teacher was killed when a truck knocked down her scooter near Devanagundi Cross on Hoskote taluk on Tuesday. The deceased was identified as Vedavathi (35), a resident of Vagata village in Hoskote taluk.
Vedavathi was on her way to school when the accident occurred. The Hoskote police visited the spot.
In another incident, a unidentified pedestrian was killed by an unidentified vehicle near Ramakrishnapura Gate in Anekal taluk on the outskirts of the city. The pedestrian was walking along the road when he was knocked down by a vehicle, killing him on the spot. The incident occurred in Surya Nagar police limits.
