DAVANAGERE: Drinking water infested with worms and algae is reportedly being given to children at the government junior primary school of Kaidale Camp in Davanagere taluk. The worms are present in the tank from which water is provided to children.
Villagers alleged that the school teachers have neglected even after suggesting to clean the tank and give water to children. Parents expressed outrage questioning who will be responsible if children’s health deteriorates by drinking polluted water.
The villagers said the school head teacher has been neglecting their repeated requests and demanded that senior officials pay attention towards the problem.
