CHIKKAMAGALUR: A school van overturned after it was hit by a MUV near the Shidle Ganapathi temple in Sringeri taluk on Tuesday. Luckily, none of the children were hurt.
The van was on its way to drop off schoolchildren when it was hit by a Toyota Innova. There were about 10 schoolchildren in the van at that time. The van was badly damaged and the children were rescued by locals.
The school van had a private registration plate and questions are now being asked if there was an attempt to cover up the accident.
