KOLAR: A police constable posted at Masti police station in Malur taluk has been suspended over his social media post regarding some police personnel.
Superintendent of Police D Devaraj has order the suspension of constable B V Ramesh for dereliction of duty and inappropriate conduct.
Ramesh had made some serious allegations on WhatsApp against Venkataramanaiah, Nagendra nd Venkateshappa of Malur and Masti police stations including about their involvement with the sand mafia, gambling and prostitution.
After his posts went viral, the issue came to the notice of the higher authorities and he was placed under suspension based on a report by Masti police inspector Vasanth.
