BENGALURU: Actress and politician Ramya has expressed her displeasure over bursting of crackers till past midnight for the Dasara festival.
In a post on X, she wrote “It’s almost 3am, and Fun World is still bursting crackers and blasting music. The Supreme Court has prohibited bursting crackers between 10pm and 6am, and loudspeakers can’t run past midnight even with special permission. I understand occasions call for some flexibility, but not at this hour. There are hospitals nearby and senior citizens and children living all around. @BlrCityPolice @DCPNorthBCP”.

She tagged the police and requested that suitable action be taken in this regarding this. In a later post, Ramya clarified, “This was not Fun World- this was at the govt school ground next to Radhakrishna theatre”.
