MANDYA: A fan of late actor Puneeth Rajkumar committed suicide at his house in Anandur village in Srirangapatna taluk on Saturday.The deceased has been identified as Kiran (22).
Kiran was an ardent fan of the late actor Puneeth Rajkumar. On October 29, he participated in a programme to mark Puneeth Rajkumar’s first death anniversary in his village. He and his friends even distributed food among the people. He had bought 25 tickets for ‘Gandhadagudi’ and distributed them to his friends. He also enjoyed the movie with his friends.
After watching the movie, Kiran came back home and was in tears, recalling his favourite actor. He was feeling dejected and hanged himself at his house and died.
A case has been registered at KRS police station.
