BENGALURU: The third edition of Public TV’s ‘Vidhya Mandira’ education expo for graduate students, organised in collaboration with AD6 Advertising, received an overwhelming response on its first day. Hundreds of students and parents from across the state participated in the event, which provided them with clarity on their future educational endeavors.
The two-day expo, being held at the Government Primary College premises near KC General Hospital in Malleshwaram, has over 42 educational institutions participating. The expo will be open from 9 am to 6 pm.
On the first day, students from Bengaluru and other districts visite d the expo to gather information about their future educational prospects. They visited each stall and inquired about their desired dream courses and the associated career opportunities.
The programme was inaugurated by earlier in the day by Public TV’s chief H R Ranganath along with Reva University Chancellor Dr P Shyamaraju and Malleswaram MLA Dr Ashwath Narayan who were the chief guests on the occasion.
The esteemed educational institutions also expressed their satisfaction with the event. The fair helped students and parents to know more about various courses, career opportunities, and other aspects of education, all under one roof.
The expo will continue tomorrow. Students and parents are encouraged to participate in large numbers.
A lucky draw will be held every hour, offering attractive prizes for the winners. Many students have already won prizes in the lucky draw.
A participant at the mega education expo, Nishant, said, “I have written the PG CET exam. I came here to know about the suitable colleges for my future academic life. It’s helpful that educational institutions are gathered under one roof, making it easy for us to know about colleges and courses. ‘Public TV’ has provided a platform for this, which is beneficial for aspirant students. If there were such expos, we wouldn’t have to go around to each educational institution. We have greatly benefited from this,” he expressed his joy with Public TV.
Student Meghana said, “I have completed B.Com. The education expo is like a golden opportunity for all of us. I came here from Mulbagal”.
