BALLARI: Members of the NGO Odanadi of Mysuru, along with the Vijayanagar police, raided a lodge at Ranipet in Hosapete and rescued four women from a prostitution racket. Six peope working at the lodge were also arrested.
One of the women hailed from Kudligi, one from Andhra Pradesh and two from Kolkata. The prostitution racket was geing run in the cellar of the lodge and the women were rescued from a small chamber.
According to the police, some men hailing from Kolkata were also involved in the prostitution racket. The Hosapete Town police have arrested the accused and registered a case.
