CHIKKABALLAPUR: A first-year BTech student at a private deemed-to-be university near Nagadenahalli fell to his death in the hostel building on Tuesday night. The deceased was identified as Dasara Brahma Sai Reddy (20), hailing from Andhra Pradesh.
Sai Reddy fell to his death after dinner on Tuesday. It was not known whether the death was an accident or suicide. The Doddaballapur Rural police visited the spot and are conducting investigations.
This is the third death in the last 4-5 months at the private university. In February, a student ended his life by coming under a train while in November last year, a foreign student had fallen to her death.
