CHITRADURGA: A group of men, carrying rifles and sticks, wearing head torches, were captured on CCTV camera roaming near a farm at Baligatte village just before midnight on Tuesday. The development has caused much scare in the village as the identities of the armed men is unknown.
In CCTV footage that is available, at least two men can be seen holding rifles while others are holding stick. Most of them are sporting head torches and appear to be looking for something.
Villagers are speculating whether they could be treasure hunters or out to kill wild animals or whether they were even dacoits. The incident occurred in Bharamasagar police limits and the villagers have demanded that police take strict action in this regard.
