MANGALURU: Days after a lip lock video involving some students of a prestigious educational institution became public, the Mangaluru police have taken five people into custody so far. This includes the youth who first leaked the video on social media.
Eight students were part of the truth-or-dare game, played at an apartment at Bavutagudda, when the lip lock video was shot. One of them is now believed to have moved abroad.
All those involved in the sexual assault incident are minors and cases under the POCSO Act and IT Act have been registered against eight persons at the Pamadeshwara women’s police station.
