The accused was garlanded with footwear and paraded in the village.

BELAGAVI: A man accused in a POCSO case, was garlanded with footwear and paraded at his village in Doddawad police limits after he was released from jail. The accused, was also beaten with chappals by his victim.

Anil Mukanavar was accused of being in a relationship with a minor girl and was arrested under the POCSO Act. After languishing in jail for three months, he was recently released on bail.

As soon as he entered the village, he was garlanded with footwear and paraded through the main streets of the village.
