BENGALURU: A 21-year-old attendant at fuel station, who had gone missing on Thursday night, was found murdered and the body dumped right in front of her tenement in the early hours on Friday.

The deceased was identified as Mahananda, who hailed from Kalaburagi. She was living with her older sister, who also works at the fuel station, at Lakshmi Sagar Layout in Mahadevapura.

Deputy Commissioner of Police S Girish said Mahananda was choked to death and marks were visible on the neck. “Both sisters work at a Shell petrol bunk. Mahananda had not gone to work on Thursday and was cooking rice for dinner when she stepped out and went missing. When she did not return at night, the older sister lodged a complaint. Around 5 am today, Mahananda’s body was dumped near the house by the killers”, he added.
