DAVANAGERE: A pastor’s daughter has alleged that he sexually abused six to seven who would visit the church in Jayanagar and is now out to marry a woman who is younger than her.
Daisy Priya (33) has alleged that her father B Rajashekhar (58) has sexually assaulted some women and was now planning to marry a 31-year-old woman who is younger than her. She claimed that the women had poured out their woes to her and added that her father had even cheated a school teacher. He has been doing this for several years, she said.
The pastors’ association, Christian Forum for Human Rights and the Davanagere district Christian welfare association have condemned the behaviour of Rajashekhar. Several Christian groups now plan to lodged a complaint against him.
Meanwhile, the Banjara community has alleged that Rajashekhar offered inducements to the Dalit woman and converted her to Christianity to marry her.
