Partially-burnt body of woman found in Kolar

KOLAR: The partially burnt body of a woman, believed to be 37-year-old, was found near a lake in Thondala village near Muduvadi taluk on Tuesday. The deceased has been identified as Shobha (37), a resident of Srinivasapura town and also the owner of the Lakshmi Priya herbal beauty parlour.

The police have suspected that some miscreants took her to a deserted area, murdered her and burnt her body. Some locals, on seeing the partially burnt body, informed the police.

Shobha was murdered and her partially-burnt body was found near a lake in Thondala village.

A case has been registered at Kolar Rural police station and the police visited the spot. Later, the identity of the woman was established as Shobha. She was married, but she left her husband and married Venkataramana for the second time. She has four children. The police have arrested three people and are interrogating them. Further investigation is under way.
