BIDAR: Two oxen which were tethered on a farm got into a fight and died after falling into a well at Ujalaba village in Basavakalyan taluk on Wednesday night. The oxen belonged to Aaba Sunil Yuvate.
On getting information, the farmer went to his fields early today morning and pulled out the oxen with the help of some locals, but both animals had died by then.
According to the farmer Sunil, the oxen were worth Rs 1.6 lakh and he has sought relief from the government. The incident occurred in Balasakalyan Rural police limits.
