BENGALURU: The toll rates on the NICE Road and Electronics City flyover have been increased with effect from Wednesday and have come into force from July 1 itself. Rates are increased every year in July and like every year, rates have been increased this year too.
Toll rates on NICE Road have been increased due to rise in maintenance costs and other charges. For cars traveling from Hosur Road to Bannerghatta Road, the toll fee has been increased from Rs 65 to Rs 72. Between Mysuru Road and Magadi Road, the toll fee has been increased from Rs 70 to Rs 77. Depending on the travel distance, toll for cars has increased by Rs 3 to Rs 8 in separate sections of NICE Road.

The toll on the Hosur Road-Bannerghatta Road stretch has been increased from 65 to 72. For two-wheeler riders, toll on the same route increased from 30 to 33. From Bannerghatta Road to Kanakapura Road, the toll increased from 15 to 17. Since toll for buses has also been increased, BMTC is likely to pass on the additional cost to passengers. For Hosur Road-Bannerghatta Road, bus toll increased from Rs 195 to Rs 215. For trucks, it has increased from Rs 128 to Rs 141.

- Bannerghatta to Kanakapura – 53 – 171 – 17 – 108.
- Kanakapura to Clover Leaf Junction – 39 – 105 – 11 – 66.
- Clover Leaf to Mysuru Road – 36 – 94 – 11 – 55.
- Mysuru Road to Magadi Road – 77 – 226 – 33 – 154.
- Magadi Road to Tumakuru Road – 61 – 176 – 17 – 116.
- Link Road – 83 – 220 – 25 – 149.
The Electronics City flyover toll rates also increased and the revised rates came into effect from Wednesday. While there is no change for single trips, the Rs 5 toll hike will impact those who travel more than once.
- Two-wheelers 25 (one way) 40 (Multiple trips).
- Cars, Jeeps, Vans – 65 – 100.
- Light Commercial Vehicles – 90 – 130.
