BENGALURU: A newlywed woman was found hanging under suspicious circumstances at her house in Kadugodi police limits on Friday. The deceased was identified as Krishnaveni (26).
Only three months, Krishnaveni had got married to Prithviraj (30), who hails from Kolar and is working with a private company in the city. The family of the woman have alleged that she was murdered by the husband and hung to make it look like a suicide.
The family members said Prithviraj started creating problems just two months into the marriage and in the last three months, he had sent Krishnaveni back to her parental home 4-5 times.
They also said Krishnaveni was two months pregnant and alleged that Prithviraj had picked a fight with Krishnaveni in a drunken state on Thursday. The family members had gathered at the Kadugodi police station demanding the arrest of Prithviraj.
