The bus shelter is missing from the place where it was erected, on Cunningham Road in Bengaluru.

BENGALURU: A bus shelter erected only a week ago on Cunningham Road in the heart of the city, at a cost of Rs 10 lakh, has shockingly gone missing. Surprisingly, no one seems to know how the bus shelter was dismantled overnight and carted away.

A second bus shelter was being erected by a BBMP contractor as Cunningham usually sees a lot of bus commuters. However, just a couple of days after the bus shelter was involved, it was uprooted and stolen.

On learning about the incident, the contractor N Ravi Reddy has lodged a complaint with the High Grounds police.
