Namma Metro sets another ridership record with 9.12 lakh passengers

BENGALURU: A week after recording its highest ridership, Namma Metro has broken its own record. The Bangalore Metro Rail Corporation (BMRCL) had said that the ridership on only on August 6, the ridership had crossed 8.26 lakh. Now, on August 14, it has registered a ridership of over 9 lakh.

With the annual Independence Day flower show and the long weekend, prompting many to travel out of the city, Namma Metro on Tuesday recorded ridership of 9.12 lakh. On August 6, the previous highest ridership was recorded at 8,26,883, according to the BMRCL authorities.
