Namma Metro records highest ridership of 8.26 lakh on Tuesday

BENGALURU: The Namma Metro has been the lifeline for daily commute for lakhs of people in the city with ridership increasing every day.

On Tuesday, Namma Metro recorded its highest ridership at 8.26 lakh. In a post on X, Bangalore Metro Rail Corporation (BMRCL) said, “Surpassing the previous ridership records, on Tuesday, August 6, 2024, Namma Metro recorded a highest footfall of 8.26 lakh. As many as 8,26,883 people travelled by Metro”.

The BMRCL also said, “We thank commuters for making Namma Metro as their travel partner and supporting in our effort towards mitigating CO2”.
