CHITRADURGA: Murugha Mutt seer Shivamurthy Murugha Sharanaru, who is in judicial custody till September 14 in a POCSO case, complained of chest pain on Thursday and was shifted to the district hospital.
His lawyer approached the court seeking adequate treatment, but the court directed that he be examined at the nearest government hospital beforehand.
The seer is expected to undergo a medical examination at the district hospital today. The court has also sought a report on the seer’s health condition.
