BENGALURU: The state government has reduced theatre ticket prices and issued a notification to implement a uniform rate in theatres and multiplexes. However, the Multiplex Association has expressed strong dissatisfaction over the government order and has approached the High Court.
The Multiplex Association has filed a petition in the High Court against the government’s notification to implement a uniform rate in multiplexes. They claim that the uniform rate will result in losses for them, and screening movies at Rs 200 will be unsustainable.
