BENGALURU: Incessant rain over the past few days in the city and also in other districts has thrown normal life out of gear. And, according to the weatherman, more rain can be expected over the two-three days.
The southwest monsoon has been active in the interior parts of the state and several districts are bearing the brunt of the havoc caused by the rain. Bengaluru too has been witnessing cloudy weather over the past few days.
On Monday, the city witnessed incessant rain right from the morning hours, putting school and college students, office-goers and roadside vendors to hardship. A yellow alert has been issued for the city and light to moderate rain, accompanied by winds, can be expected, the weather department has said.
The wet conditions have surely come as a dampener on the festival atmosphere.
