BENGALURU: The BJP, which has a strong presence in Malnad parts of central Karnataka, may suffer a setback while the Congress looks to make gains in the region compared to the 2018 Assembly election.
The BJP stands to lose four seats while Congress will gain four additional seats in the region. However, according to the ‘Mood of Karnataka’ survey, the BJP will still bag a higher number of seats. Malnad and Central Karnataka include a total of 25 constituencies.
