BENGALURU: Two employees of a mobile repair shop sent obscene messages to woman who had given her mobile phone for repair.
The young woman had given her mobile to the shop because the screen wasn’t working properly. She went back to the shop a week later to collect it. At that time, a young man at the mobile shop behaved indecently with her. He told her, “You look like my girlfriend”, and tried to provoke her for sexual activity.
Even after the woman took her phone and returned home, he and another staffer continued sending obscene messages till late at night. The accused messaged her saying, “Hi baby, let’s…”
Fed up with the harassment, the woman filed a complaint at HAL police station. The act was committed by two youths at the mobile repair shop. The HAL police have registered the complaint and are investigating.
