Missing police constable traced to Anantapur, brought back

The missing constable was found in Anantapur in Andhra Pradesh.

TUMAKURU: A police constable, attached to the Midigeshi police station, who had been missing since last week, was traced to Anantapur in Andhra Pradesh. He was found wearing a Ayyappa mala at a temple.

Veeresh, hailing from Haveri, had been posted at Midigeshi for the last two years. His marriage has been fixed for December 22 and 23. About a week ago, he shockingly went missing, but his mobile phone, motorcycle and clothes were found near a lake to mislead the police that he may have committed suicide.

The police and firemen had searched several lakes and well for the missing constable.

The police and Fire and Emergency Services staff had launched a search for him and looked in many lakes, tanks and well apart from forest areas. It now turns out that Veeresh was upset over some domestic issue and had left home. He was caught the Midigeshi police at Anantapur in Andhra Pradesh and brought back.
