BENGALURU: A 12-year-old boy, who had gone missing since January 21 from Whitefield, was traced to Nampally Metro station in Hyderabad on Wednesday. His parents left for Hyderabad to bring him back to the city.

Parinav, a Class 6 student at Deens Academy in Gunjur, had gone for tuitions at Allens in Whitefield and was missing since Sunday afternoon. He is the son of Sukesh and Niveditha, residents of Vijayanagar. Parinav’s father had dropped him off for tuitions, but got a little late to pick him up and by then, the boy went missing.

Parinav had been spotted on CCTV cameras.

The boy was spotted at various places on CCTV cameras and an appeal to trace him was shared by many on social media platforms. He had walked up to Marathalli and taken a BMTC bus. The police had launched a massive hunt to trace the boy. Finally, he was found at the Nampally metro station in Hyderabad and will be brought back by the parents.

In a video message, Parinav’s mother Niveditha confirmed that he had been located and said that they will be travelling to Hyderabad to bring him back.
