Metro service on the green line was hit for some time due to some technical issue.

BENGALURU: Namma Metro services on the green line were partially affected for some time between Peenya and Nagasandra on Friday as one of the trains got stranded at the Peenya metro station.

The services were affected for 32 minutes and trains from Silk Institute were terminated at Yeshwantpur during that time, causing inconvenience to passengers. The services were stopped from Peenya to Nagasandra.

Service between Nagasandra and Peenya was hit for little more than half-an-hour.

The services were affected as one on train got stuck at Peenya station due to a technical fault in the tracks. The fault was quickly rectified as normal services were resumed, BMRCL officials said.
