BENGALURU: A man who indulged over in 100 thefts in a period of three months, has been arrested by the police in the city. The thief is Rafiq Pasha alias Chutu.
It has come to light that the thief has committed more than 100 thefts in the last three months. The accused Rafiq Pasha admitted during questioning that he would not target big houses or shops, but rather steal from small houses and shops. He used to steal to spend enough for one or two days. He did not steal any gold or any other items.
He thought that if Rs 5,000 or Rs 10,000 were stolen, no one would complain. Hence, no matter how much money was there where he struck, he took only Rs 5,000 to Rs 10,000 to spend daily.
After the he had spent whatever he had stolen, he would again get into theft. Currently. 32 cases have been filed against the accused, and investigation is under way.
