BENGALURU: In a case of domestic dispute, man allegedly attempted to murder his own daughter who is an Assistant Professor at RVT College in Rajanukunte. The victim Lakshmi Durga has since lodged a complaint with the police.
The incident took place around 3 pm on July 25 inside the college college principal’s cabin. Lakshmi Durga’s father Nagendra carried out the attack with a sharp knife.
Nagendra had gone to the principal’s cabin saying he wanted to see his daughter. When his daughter came to meet him, he stabbed her in the stomach, chest, and neck, and then escaped. A case has been registered at Rajanukunte police station and further investigation is under way.
