BENGALURU: A man strangled his wife to death after she questioned him about his illicit relationship at Mudnakodu village on Tuesday.
The deceased has been identified as MC Sowmya (27) and the accused is Mahesh Chandraguru. They both belonged to the same village. Seven years ago, Sowmya and Mahesh fell in love and got married . However, there was a change in the behavior of the husband in the last six months. Mahesh Chandraguru had an illicit relationship with another woman and Sowmya questioned him about this. Angered by his wife’s questioning, Mahesh strangled her to death.
A case has been registered at Chamarajanagar Rural police station. The couple has a five-year-old daughter. Mahesh has been arrested by the police.
