CHAMARAJANAGAR: A devotee at the Male Mahadeshwara Hills in Hanur taluk got lucky when he got a bag containing Rs 2 lakh in cash while buying the laddoo prasadam.
The temple staffer at the special darshan counter apparently gave away a bag containing Rs 2 lakh, which was kept near the laddoo packets, to a devotee without realising it. There was huge rush at the counter at that time.
On realising the folly, the temple authorities are now going through CCTV footage and have also lodged a complaint with the MM HIlls police.
