HUBBALLI: An aged man was found brutally murdered in the general compartment of the Tirupati-Hubballi Passenger train on Friday morning.
The unidentified man was lying in a pool of blood when the train reached Byahatti railway station. The body was found when the railway staff were checking the train.
The train was stopped at Byahatti itself and the Railway Police were called in. An investigation has been taken up into the mysterious murder case — to identify the victim and the killers, and also the motive for the murder.
