KALABURAGI: A man assaulted a police constable and even threw a stone at the latter’s face as his sister was not allowed to copy in the PU exam. The incident occurred at the exam centre at Karajagi in Afzalpur taluk.
The accused Kailash assaulted constable Pandit Pandre with a stone for not allowing his sister to copy in the exam. He was immediately overpowered by the constable and others at the exam centre.
The police have since arrested Kailash and his accomplice Sameer and a case has been registered at the Afzalpur police station.
